Progress continues at Topanga Canyon Apartments with drywall installation and exterior skin work underway:

Drywall Installation: Interior walls are being framed, drywalled, and finished, creating defined spaces for each unit and enhancing soundproofing, insulation, and fire resistance.

Exterior Skin Work: The building’s exterior is being wrapped in protective and aesthetic finishes, such as weather-resistant barriers and cladding, providing both insulation and a sleek, finished appearance.

• Site Work: Crews are working on outdoor landscaping, paving, and finalizing infrastructure like walkways and parking areas to complete the exterior environment.

On October 17th, Westport Construction will participate in the annual Great ShakeOut earthquake drill, with all 15 job sites and offices conducting a full evacuation ensuring our entire team is equipped and prepared for emergencies.

We anticipate over 1,250 participates, as each project team will clear their entire site and account for all workers. Our company-wide approach highlights our proactive attitude to emergency preparedness. This drill serves as an important reminder that our most valuable asset is our people, and knowing the proper procedures can make all the difference in an emergency situation.

With a strong focus on safety and teamwork, we are proud to see Westport Construction lead by example, reinforcing our readiness and resilience as a team.
